Death as loneliness
Death is not cruel here. She is simply avoided by everyone she meets.
Poetic narrative concept
Death was always alone. Until a sweet little dog named Zoe decided to walk with her.
The story
Death always felt alone. Even though she was the only certainty in life, everyone ran away from her. But her loneliness begins to fade when she meets Zoe, a sweet little dog who starts accompanying her on the journey of guiding the souls that need to leave this world.
Zoe treats death not as a monster, but as a quiet presence seen through different eyes: those who fear it, those who wait for it, and those who are finally ready to rest.
Companions
Where Death brings silence, Zoe brings warmth. Together, they cross a world of snow, memory and farewell — not to take life away, but to help it finish with tenderness.
The world
The visual direction mixes cold landscapes with fragile warmth: lamps, villages, pale forests and small signs of life in places touched by endings.
Death is not cruel here. She is simply avoided by everyone she meets.
Zoe becomes a small light in a path usually marked by fear and silence.
Each soul reveals another way of seeing the end: fear, memory, peace or love.
“Even the one everyone fears may still need someone to walk beside her.”
In development
Zoe is a narrative concept by Flying Frog Studios, focused on poetic storytelling, emotional atmosphere and a tender perspective on death.
